I found an investment home and was ready to make an offer. I needed someone quick but my friend who is a realtor was not available so I found Meryl after calling a few realtors. She spent time on the phone getting to know me and then we arranged a time to meet in the evening. She came prepared with a laptop, and even a printer! ha ha. I could tell she spent all day preparing info to show me. At the cafe, she got to know my situation a little better. It is my first house purchase but I wasn’t going to live there. I live with my parents. I needed an investment home as a stepping stone to buying my own home. After preparing an offer, she reviewed the investment home financials with me and went throughly through the closing costs. She helped call my mortgage banker and after spending several hours with Meryl, it was getting late. I was scared to tell her but she didn’t even flinch when I realized that I wasn’t ready to make the offer. I didn’t have enough downpayment to get financing. She was so kind and informative.
