Coal Harbour is a Vancouver neighbourhood named after its shipping & mining history. The coal in its name betrays its beauty but since being redeveloped in the 90s, it shines like a diamond. It is now one of the most photographed areas of Vancouver. The waterfront harbour views with mid-rise cascading to high-rise architecture attracts those looking for luxury with a view and a playground to match.
This is likely where Vancouver get’s its upscale reputation. With Alberni street’s lux shops, beaches, million dollar marina views of float planes and boats swimming in the harbour. Stanley Park is also nearby along with many smaller parks and outdoor artwork along the water walkway.
