Main streets of the world are usually special but Vancouver’s main street has now had worldwide attention. Its always been hip but now its cheeky in a grown up way. There is a revival of stores from cool dives to chic stores and cafes. There will be continued evolution as the Little Mountain & QE/Riley park densification development kicks into gear.

Housing in the neighbourhood maintains some of the character of the pre/post war bungalows and single family homes. This area has seen significant change to the number of multi-family units as demand has risen along with popularity of the area. Significant development of Little Mountain includes some 1600 units along with retail, mid+rise (up to 14 stories). There are spots for seniors and childcare to round out this community.

Main street has been named one of the coolest street in the world. For good reason – you can stroll through beautifully curated stores, check out guitar stores, main street local design fashion boutiques, antique stores, and lots of craft beer and eateries.
