Point Grey has some of the most enviable areas and homes in Vancouver but it has the pricetag to match. It is arguably the most expensive neighbourhood in Canada. It also has some of the best views of English Bay which borders its North. The beaches found here are one of the reasons Vancouver is compared as California north.
Water Water Everywhere
Not only does the beach front draw people to this supernatural part of the city, so does the available water sports and activities. The Point Grey and Kitsilano lifestyle sometimes draws professionals to stay for life! In addition to water sports, the beach and park activities are easily some of the most entertaining anywhere. There is the Jericho Tennis Club, and tennis courts near the beach, there is the West Point Grey Community Centre with plenty of arts, theatre, and youth activity.

Point Grey housing is mostly single family homes on generous lots and prices as mentioned are in the upper range country-wide. Recent demand like in Kits has pushed for denser housing options and there is certainly developers cooperating with city zoning and community desires to preserve neighbourhood feel by blending commercial and residential units in some of the main streets. Commercial areas along 10th (Point Grey Village) continues to grow and thrive.
