What does BC legislation on rental restrictions have in common with Uber and Airbnb?
Just mention UBER to British Columbians and they will simply roll their eyes and say “When will it ever happen?”. Mention AirBNB in Vancouver and you will get a mixed reaction; an opinion that BC is took too long to act and many do not like the solution. And now recently, the BC Rental Housing Task Force (BCRHTF) recommended banning strata’s rights to restrict rentals. Yet again, the proposed solution has opposing opinion.
